Harland - South Park

Popped in for a quick beer before dinner down the street, so while I can't comment on the food, I can say that the beer is good, the service is great, and the atmosphere is lovely. Short on time and fresh from a rough travel day, I especially appreciated that they offer shorter pours. It was just what I needed!

We finished eating at Buona Forchetta and wanted to continue with drinks. Kindred was packed so we came to Harland. So glad we did. We got seated immediately, great drink options and great prices! It was too cold to sit outside but great if you have fur babies.

If anyone is in town visiting or just passing by I highly recommend you drop by and grab an IPA and some food. Everything on the menu tastes awesome, I love their burgers, chicken sandwich, dipper fries, Mediterranean Salad and patty melt. I keep ordering the same thing over and over. Keep saying I’ll try the other items on the menu, but haven’t tallied myself into it yet. Great atmosphere too and I have to say all the staff is awesome. Would like to give a special kudos to “Lou” for always being super nice and very hospitable to my wife and I. Keep up the great work Hartland crew!!

Awesome, low key spot in the SouthPark neighborhood. Ordered the Fried Chicken sandwich and was pleasantly surprised at the seasoning and the spice level. A little dry but nothing too worrying as it was sort of a brunch rush. As always, the beer is stellar. Will be something for everyone. Harland is the best!

Was staying in the area with a friend and he knows I like microbrews, so he recommended Harland. I'm from St Louis and we have a strong microbrew scene and regularly am underwhelmed in other places. Not here. Very good beer, especially liked the Bernard (I think that was the name). The space is also really cool with a little patio and garage door walls. Looks like it also doubles as a coffee shop in the morning. Food was also very good.

This little spot is one of my favorites in San Diego. Every drink I've had here has been great. Their Japanese Lager is super refreshing and I'm a huge fan of their seasonal White Peach and Lilikoi sour (please keep this on the menu!) Staff is always kind and efficient.

It’s definitely a strange policy, especially since they seem fine with people taking up entire tables that could seat multiple guests. For a space that feels like a natural spot to settle in and get a little work done while enjoying the vibe, this rule seems counterintuitive. I’d love to know who came up with this idea and what the thought process was behind it. Hopefully, they’ll reconsider as they gather feedback from their loyal patrons. Despite this odd rule, the service and overall experience at Harland more than make up for it. The staff are attentive, friendly, and clearly passionate about creating a welcoming space for everyone. They go out of their way to make sure your visit is enjoyable, which keeps people coming back. It’s clear they care about their customers, and it shows in how they run the place. Harland - South Park is a fantastic addition to the neighborhood, and it’s easy to see why it’s already become such a popular spot. While I think the no-laptop policy at the bar might hurt them in the long run, I still highly recommend this place for its great menu, cool vibe, and excellent service. If you’re in South Park, definitely stop by and see what Harland has to offer!

The chicken tenders are a must! They are so tasty, juicy, big and have lots of flavor. The ambiance is really airy, open, comfortable, and inviting. A great place to go for a meal or to grab a coffee and do computer work. Also the staff is super helpful and friendly. Just a heads up the coffee bar closes at 3:30 in the afternoon but the restaurant closes at 9:00pm
